Our story
Every institution begins with a purpose
HerNext began with a simple but important belief: Africa's future will be stronger when more women have access to opportunities that enable them to succeed.
Across the continent, women establish businesses, strengthen value chains, drive agricultural productivity, lead organisations, innovate across industries and create employment. Yet too often their progress is constrained by barriers that limit access to finance, markets, technology, leadership and strategic partnerships.
Recognising both the challenge and the immense opportunity, HerNext Network was established to help strengthen the ecosystems that enable women to realise their potential.
Our purpose is not simply to organise events or build networks. It is to create pathways through which women can access knowledge, partnerships, markets, investment, leadership opportunities and innovation ecosystems that support long-term success.
